Feng Shui Myth #1

Myth: A Feng Shui cure can bring immediate change in my life.

Truth: You exact immediate change in your life. Feng shui whether done intuitively, purposefully, or by accident may alter or alleviate certain issues, problems, or ailments (to one degree or another). My illustrious feng shui teacher and mentor Steven Post taught me that all factors must be taken into account when giving a feng shui treatment and transcendental solution. Even with that, the rate at which the solution manifests (if at all) can not measured or guaranteed.

Matthew Arnold once said, "Culture, then, is a study of perfection, and perfection which insists on becoming something rather than in having something, in an inward condition of the mind and spirit, not in an outward set of circumstances." Enjoy the journey of life my friends!

Reduce Stress Using Feng Shui

Many people use feng shui to reduce stress in their "outer" environment, but rarely know or realize how powerful and effective it can be for the body. Through face and body reading, I can see signs of illness, pain, and stress in your body. Here are 10-foods-reduce-stress foods that you can get at your local farmer's market or grocery store that can help you manage stress.

Feng shui is most effective from a wholistic approach. When you adjust both inside (body) and out (your home or office), you will receive the greatest benefits from a feng shui consultation.

Blessings of Peace and Abundance to You,

Nancy
PS. Here is a great Stress-Buster Shake Recipe

1 scoop of vegan protein powder
1 scoop of fiber powder
1/2 - 1 cup orange juice
1/3 - 1/2 cup blueberries
1 banana
3 - 5 kale leaves (or sweet chard or spinach)
1 shot of wheat grass (great for body cleanse)
1 cup of ice and 1/2 - 1 cup of water

Blend all ingredients in a high powdered blender. Makes 1-2 servings. You may also add other fresh fruit and hardy, green veggies.

Use Meditation to Achieve Greater and Faster Results

You can use simple meditation techniques to achieve faster results with your feng shui practice because it helps you focus your mind on what you want and only that. By letting go of the thoughts and feelings that inhibit progress and freedom in your thoughts, feelings, and actions, you may use meditation together with feng shui to change your world.

Remember to breathe, relax, and be still. While you shut out (as best you can) the thoughts shouting for your attention, allow yourself to be present within your body for however many seconds or minutes you can. Focus on wherever you feel tension and send loving, healing thoughts there.

Feng shui may be interpreted (metaphorically) as wind (breath) and water (thoughts and feelings). As you practice a waking meditation (as my Bikram Yoga teachers say), you will find yourself amazed at how much more flexability, power, and strength you have inside and consequently, how much more you accomplish.
